Yuma River Tours

I am a winter visitor here, to Yuma, and I wonder how many others do here in search of something. My husband and I have noticed Yuma River Tours has a lot to offer.

This company has been in business for 20 years (celebrate) its 20th straight season. The Knowlton family, operators of Yuma River Tours, currently has three generations of masters in their immediate family members, and they have sixty years experience and knowledge of the Colorado River.

YumaRiver Tours offers a variety of packages, including:

Ø Steamers Food & Cruises

Ø Canoe and Kayak Adventures

Ø Student Field Trips

Ø Custom Tours and Charters

Ø Jet Boat Tours

The trip, which caught our eye was the jet-boat tour. Well, if people think of jet-boat, they think, whitewater and paved with many stumbling blocks, at least that's what I thought. However, this is not what this tour goes. The ride is smooth andWind blowing through her hair. My husband and I have this trip twice because we enjoyed it immensely.

You will notice that along with the jet-boat ride you a wonderful story about the local history preserved. It's absolutely incredible to give as much information as Captain Ron and Bob, the first officer while driving down the Colorado River.

So be prepared to be taken back in time, because Captain Ron has planned a wonderful trip for you.

You will board the boat to FishersLanding, and then you begin your journey along the Colorado River. There are a few stops on the road from where the boat and stretch your legs to hear about the area's history or just enjoy the view. The entire journey will take about five hours, including lunch.

Yuma River Tours offers a trip for local fourth graders. This all started when Carolyn was a teacher Chase quarter a passenger during one of the Jet Boat Tours. She enjoyed the trip and knew her fourth-graderwould be just as good. Therefore, from the time children start kindergarten, they begin to hear and see pictures of the fourth class trips with Captain Ron.

I mention the fourth class trip because I agree with Captain Ron and Carolyn Chase. I've been a passenger on the jet boat tour and after hearing the story, Captain Ron, there, I could focus on all the little faces of Captain Ron, with his knowledge.

Captain Ron makes his winter guests talk aboutfourth class trips because he wants to know that you are using a portion of their fees to offset some of the costs for these trips.

The boat boards with reservation so gather your friends and family and book your adventure today.
